Ivo Kuipers is one of the founding partners of Atlas. He holds a degree from the University of Amsterdam in both Business Economics and Tax Law. After his graduation, he started his career in 1997 with the international tax department of one of the big four.

He has significant experience in advising his clients on a broad spectrum of tax matters relating to Dutch and international taxation. He specializes in the tax aspects of restructurings, mergers and acquisitions, cross-border structuring, joint ventures and financing structures. Ivo closely follows the international developments such as the impact of the BEPS action plans and the EU initiatives to combat aggressive tax planning.
